The First International Television Film Festival “Golden Pectoral” will be held from the 8th to 11th April 2010 in the town Truskavets (Royal Hotel & SPA Resorts “Geneva”), Ukraine.

The goal of the Festival:

• Broadening collaboration between different countries in film and television spheres;
• Supporting young producers creating new cinema verite/documentary films;
• Popularizing principles of humanism, justice, publicity, openness and informational accessibility through TV communications.

FESTIVAL NOMINATIONS

Works accepted at the First International TV film Festival “Golden Pectoral” will be presented in 4 divisions and 12 nominations. Each film/series (or one of the episodes if it has a complete full-fledged story) or show/reel can be presented simultaneously not more than in 2 nominations.

In the competition there participate the works produced by film companies and television companies in the period from January 2009 till January 2010. In line with the Screening Committee recommendation the Directorate reserves the right to put a film in the nomination different from the applicant’s original decision if in the Screening Committee’s opinion the subject matter of the nomination corresponds more the subject matter of the film/show. The agreement of applicant (person submitting his/her participation application) is mandatory!

Chapter I. Historical mysteries – unknown pages, forgotten names, unexplored lands, and ethnos.

Chapter II. Expedition to the past – discoveries, journeys, unknown persons of the past, geography.

Chapter III. Extreme marathon – any kinds of extreme, “deadly” kinds of sport, tourism and leisure.

Chapter IV. Criminal.TV – films and programs of detective genre.

In each division there are three winners in the nominations:

1. Golden Pectoral
2. Silver Pectoral
3. Bronze Pectoral
